Default 7250 Call Notification

Please Login to Remove!

I want my 7250 to interrupt me during the internet/email to notify my of calls. Currently, it goes straight to voicemail.

Does anyone know how to do this?

What operating system are you using, 4.02. I believe that with 4.1 you will get the desired results. So if you are not upgraded yet, thatshould be your next move.

Doesn't work on my 7250 with 4.1 either.. I'm on TELUS in Canada, using their latest build..

Anyone know anything about this? I'd like to figure it out as well.

Long story short is that the CDMA standard doesn't provide for a method to suspend or block socket connections, unlike GSM/GPRS. As such the 7250 uses primative timeout functions to block data and begin accepting voice.

Long story short if you're actively using data your voice calls will go to voicemail on your 7250. The 7290 will actually block data and let calls through.

EVDO seems to have rectified this problem. Many users with the 7250 in EVDO areas report that their device immediately suspends data transfers when calls come in.
