Default mapquest question.

Can I down load a program like mapquest without the data plan from cingular? I assume its just like a Thomas guide, right? I want to be able to get directions from my 8700 without being online. Thanks for the help guys

You can download Google Local for the BlackBerry by visiting this site on your handheld:
http://www.google.com/glm
I've used it before and it's pretty accurate - just don't try to use it while driving a 6-speed (unless you're on the highway).

In other words, no you can't get an offline program.
