Default Partial address book transfer

I have a 2006 BMW M5 and a blackberry 8700r. The bluetooth works fine except that it won't transfer the complete phone book. The first time it transfered about half the numbers from A throuigh Y. I deleted the phone and started agin, this time it transfered only A, B, C and D but all the numbers in ABCD. I tried sorting my blackberry by name, then by company but to no avail. Any ideas on the problem? Is there a maximum number of numbers, I don't think so.
