Exclamation New "Group" for 7250

Please Login to Remove!

HELP!
I am trying to creat a new "group" in my contact list, NOT CATEGORY. I have figured out how to go to contacts, click wheel, click "new category", name it, click wheel again to add contacts, but that is where my trail of success ends I can't seem to figure out how to add contacts to a new group, therefor can't creat the new group because it won't save unless I add someone.

any help is appreciated.

A little confusion with your post but if I understand right...

Go into your address book 'scroll click' - "new group" - then 'scroll click' - "add member" .... after adding members, scroll to the top of that list and give it a name. 'Scroll click' - "save group"

From the small group I did, you'll need to 'scroll click' & "add member" for each person entered into that group.

Help that helps.

Default adding is the problem I am having.

Adding contacts is the hang up, I can name the group, and when I select "add a contact" it opens my address book. When I have the disred name highlighted, I click the wheel and there is no option to add....I have tried to copy and past too. Maybe this is more specific, appreciate all help and advice

On my 7250, after selecting "add member", I get my address book. I then select the entry, click the scroll-wheel, and take the default "continue" action. This adds the name to the group.

There is a catch, which I think is quite reasonable: you don't get a chance to add a name unless there is an associated email address.

Is it possible to add a group without adding each person as a contact?

Add a Group to a Group?
you have to add ppl to the group for them to be there. And from what i have seen OUTLOOK doe s not sync the group and also TheBB does not pick up Group lists created in Outlook.

I got a 7280 and have found the same problem with groups. Evidently BB's are a little weak on handling groups. I guess I'll just have to keep hacking until I find a fix... CZ
