my bb (8700) is displaying the indicator that i have a new e-mail. when i go to check it, there are no new messages. i have tested (sent test text messages and emails) and while the indicator number goes up, i am unable to view the new messages. (tmo service in socal)

any thoughts on what to try? i rebooted a couple of times with no luck

yes, i searched - sorry if this has been covered

Whos your service with? If Cingular you need to go to cingular.com/blackberrystart, once logged in check your inbox and delete all messages. That should work.
