Default Newbie- Problem using Desktop Manager

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a new 8700c and installed the Desktop Manger software. When it comes time to connect the BB it wont "Connect", just says Disconnected. I have it connected via the USB cable that came with the BB. When I click "Options", "Connection Settings...", and select USB for the connection I get a window that says to make sure the device is connected and then a window that says Device Not Found. Help!

I am very new to all of this so go easy on me!
(I searched and didnt find anything about this although Im sure its something easy.)

Thanks!

You could try another USB port on your desktop. I had one USB port that was broken on my computer and I couldn't get my BB connected until I switched ports.

What version of the Desktop Manager are you using? If not version 4.10, then go to www.blackberry.com/downloads and down the version 4.10 and install it, this will hopefully resolve your problem.
