Hello all, I just recieved my BB 8700G from TM and I'm loving it so far but I'm having some web browser issues. When trying to go to certain sites like my bank (Bank of America) or some internet forums (IGN), it wont let me log in using my user/pass information. When trying to do so it says I can connect??? It seems I'm only having trouble with secure sites or sites that require a user/pass.

I have tried setting the browser to IE and that didn't help. I have also tried other 3rd party browsers like Opera and they wont even connect at all?

Any help would be great

I've never been able to reach banking sites from my BB. I guess it's because they rely heavily on JavaScript.

But for pages that don't display right, or are too large for the BB to load, use Google Mobilizer.

My 8700g wouldn't work with some sites until I made this adjustment.

Go to:

Settings
Options
Advanced options
TCP

In the APN field enter: wap.voicestream.com
Leave the other fields blank

I think for you to use some sites on the 8700g you need to allow java.
