I bought an 8700c that is unlocked so i can use it on the Tmo network. When i sync it to my desktop and hit application loader it come back and says no OS found. So it makes it difficult to try to upgarde/add options. ANy ideas how to get this fixed?

Did you download, install the os on the pc, and remove the vendor.xml file from the pc?

You need to download the software from the vendor site. This is in addition to the desktop software.

the factory installed Cingular OS is still on there i haven't touched anything yet. All that was done was that it was unlocked.

Yes, but you still have to install the OS software on your PC in order for the Desktop Manager to recognize the OS on the handheld....You should be able to find that software here...go to the RIM Software Thread. There are lots of links to the software.
