Default Blackberry 7290 and Outlook 2003

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

I am just finishing an internship with a bank who are using BES. I've grown to really like my Blackberry 7290 and whilst I will still be able to use the handset when I leave with my personal sim card, I will not be able to use the push e-mail functions (poor student on a tariff that doesn't offer BB!!)

I was wondering if there is any way to be able to write/read e-mails on the BB but do all the sending and receiving through outlook?? I know this defeats the object of a BB, but I will not be getting anywhere near the amount of e-mails I am now, and they very rarely need a rapid response. This would at least allow me to write/read whilst on the move.

Thanks a lot,

Ashley

Ashley,

without a data plan no email is going to come/go from the BlackBerry. A Data plan will allow you to be able to read/write emails from the BB. I understand why you want to do this, but without a data plan, you wont be able to accomplish your goal.

Sorry

Don't I know it, lol

I've been looking around the UK and it would seem that t-mobile offer one of the cheapest.
