I apologize in advance. I have been a BB user for quite some time now but I left shortly for the Treo 700w world which I felt was just a Windows world with the phone locking up, etc. So today I swiched to Verizon's 7130e. My two problems I thought were quite simple but yet I still cannot figure it out. The first deals with the signature at the end. How can I change this from "This message was sent by ..." to something else? Secondly, I am inside the Desktop Manager and I am trying to setup the snyc between Outlook and the 7130 under Configure PIM. I got the address book to snyc correctly to my Outlook contacts but everything else shows up as grey'ed out and I cannot click the Browse button to select what I want. Please help.

Log into your BIS website. Choose the address that has the signature you want to change. Click Edit. Remove or edit the signature. Click Save.

Actually when you log on and click on the email address and choose edit it brings you to a screen that does not allow you to edit the signature. It still says "sent from my Verizon Wireless Blackberry." I sure would like to get that out of my signature.

If it's like mine (T-Mobile / 7100t) I can log into my T-Mobile account online, and view the respective email accounts that forward to my device. From here, I can edit, delete my signatures...

So, try that...

Fixed it. I had to use the desktop to access Verizon on line. the phone website would not edit the signature but the website on the desktop did.

It seeems that you may be using the My T-Mobile site rather than the BIS site. T-Mobile did away with their BIS site last year. The only way to use BIS instead of My T-Mobile E-mail is to set it up on the device, and the signatures cannot be changed there.

huh? I can access my account(s) on my T-Mobile web site just fine, and edit the respective signatures just fine...

I'm sure you can. My point is that the My T-Mobile site is separate from the Blackberry Internet Service e-mail setup. Both do the same thing, they just do them in different ways. Many people prefer to use the new BIS instead of the T-Mobile utility.

Ohhhhh, so, if I setup an internet email account from the Blackberry Internet Service icon on my device the wizard / process will be different from what I did online, at My T-Mobile.com?
