Default Idokorro Mobile FTP PORT 21 under TMOBILE 8700G EDGE?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Anybody got this combination working? I installed and try to connect to my home ftp server.. it just sits at the connection string.

I do have my options>TCP> set to

wap.voicestream.com
<blank>
<blank>

Will have I have enter a user/pw. If so, not even sure where to get this.

Any other good/inexpensive FTP editor/clients for BB out there?

I've had success with other software using TCP like jmIrc and using the device as teathered modem using EDGE.

Thanks!

Hello cyberpine,

Those are the correct APN settings for Tmobile so that should not be an issue.

Are you able to connect to a publicly accessible ftp site like ftp.microsoft.com using Idokorro Mobile FTP?

You can just use an Anonymous login type.

If you can connect to ftp.microsoft.com then it is likely that either a firewall or router is blocking the connection to your home FTP server.

Here is a good resource on configuring many different types of routers to allow a FTP connection:

If you need any additional information I encourage you to contact Idokorro directly at [email address]
