Hey guys, I've searched but don't see anyone else having this issue. I love my 7130c, but it is being funky sometimes. I figured out that it can't do data and phone all at the same time, so that when I get calls while I'm on the Net or IMing someone they go directly to voice mail. That's ok, I can live with that. BUT recently it is not in IM mode and I'll look down and see that I have a new v/m ... it never rang. Is this just a problem with my BB? OR are others having the same problem?

No. This happens when I've only got the phone active.

This is why I have been hesitant to buy a 7130c and ditch my MotoMPx220/Nextel 7520 BB power combo.

I can't be missing calls. I'm "on call".

Like, all the time. Like, it's my @$$ if I miss a recall.

Can someone confirm the "when it will" and "when it won't" dump it to voicemail? Preferbaly someone that used it over the weekend in normal American activities like driving and moving about to and fro?

Do you have Do Not Disturb activated somehow through your carrier?

for me anyway, the problem is hit and miss. Doesn't happen very often but its annoying when it does.

Sometimes when I dont have a signal, the call will go straight into voicemail.

just tried to duplicate your porblem on a demo 7130 and it was working fine. you may want to return it if you dont find a fix.

Any time data is coming in on you device, it will go straight to voice mail with CDMA. So if it was doint a reconcile or sending any data update to the device and a phone call came in, it would go straight to voice mail. I get lots of email and lots of synching so this would happen to me all the time, if I had a CDMA device. This is one reason, I like GSM/GPRS like T-Mobile. Voice takes precedence over data.
