Default Transfer data from Treo to 8700

I want to buy a BB 8700 series and have 5 years worth of contact info on my Treo 600 in the Palm format. Before I buy, I need to know that I can transfer that data from the Treo to the new BB. Is there a program/software that will do that for me? Is that transfer fairly painless and reliable?

Yes. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, under Intellisync, there's an option to import PIM data from a Palm / Treo or Windows mobile device - seems simple...

You can transfer to Outlook and then back to the 8700.(easiest, most simple way if you've never had a bb before) also via bb desktop manager.

To make this even more complicated... I have a Palm Treo 700p, that syncs to Outlook (on a PC) -- I am getting the 8830 and need all my data transferred to the phone (from the Treo or from the computer) and THEN I want my MacBook to be the primary computer...

How do I make that happen? Help me!!
