Default accessing address book from phone screen

Please Login to Remove!

Just got an 8700. However when in the phone log screen and i start typing someones name it doesnt automatically search the address book as my 7520 did. Any idea on how to do this?

Is the device locked when you're trying to make a call? If so, it will not access the address book.

No, not locked just enters numbers and nothing when i type letters.
