When I compose on an email on my 8700g, pressing space doesn't insert an "@" symbol - it just adds a space. Same goes for the "."

The BB tips page on the 8700g mentions this shortcut, but it doens't seem to work. Any thoughts?

It does do it, but you'll need to put another space in for the "period" on the "dot com" or whatever for it to recognize that it's indeed an e-mail addy.

It took some getting used to for me, too. Compose an e-mail, and just use spaces for the entire punctuation. It should work just fine.

Doesn't work for me. I enter "name company com" and get "message included an invalid address."

If you look at what you are typing it does look like a space but look under where you are typing and it is putting the @ and the dot...

Ok, I figured it out. It doesn't work with "Use Once" - I have to go to the actual email and then it work. I swear it was different on the 72xx series, but I'm probably just crazy! thanks!
