Question New and need help with 2 problems w/7290, 1 easy, 1 not

Hoping someone can help. I did try to search the archives but couldn't find the answers.

The easy question--does the 7290 have a shift-lock key? I get annoyed having to hold down the button to type numbers (I use numbers a lot).

the not-so-easy question: I found out, too late, that RIM doesn't support DUN bluetooth. I am trying to hookup my blackberry as a modem to my Dell Axim 51v via bluetooth. Have also heard GPRS is do-able but for the life of me I cannot figure it out. Has anyone done this? I am not opposed to, umm, helping it along if necessary.

My carrier is Tmobile.

Thanks in advance. I am enjoying reading all the posts, lots of intersting info out there!

1) Press for Caps Lock, and I'm pretty sure it's for NumLock. I have an 8700 now, so it's been a while, and I don't really remember which combo Num Lock is...but there IS an option, if I recall correctly.

Sorry...but I don't have an answer to your second question...

You can not - under any circumstances - use the BlackBerry Bluetooth as a modem. The BT on a BlackBerry can be used to do PIM sync with a laptop, or for wireless headsets. It can not be used as a modem.
