| 7100 Vs 7130 Please Login to Remove! I realise there are many differences between these phones but Im just wondering about the boot times. I know my 7100t takes about 3 or 4 minutes from putting the battery in to being fully booted up and usable. can anyone let me know how long the 7130 takes. | | Offline

| IMO, when I first got my phone 2 weeks ago, it started up within 1-2 minutes but seems to take almost 3-4 now after the apps that i installed (bb today), etc. | | Offline

| Yeah it does depend on apps quite a bit. General booting times are quicker though. | | Offline

| at the moment other than zen, which i know takes a while too boot, iv nothing on it. Any ideas of which parts of the core components can be taken out without it deciding not to boot, concidering i dont use any of the data services just yet. Iv already taken enerprise activation, mms, brick breaker, a whole load of languages and all non dependant themes off. | | Offline

| I'm curious...
Why is boot time important? Do you do reboots several times a day? I haven't rebooted mine in weeks. | | Offline

| I have nothing on my 7130c but what came on it pre-installed and had to reboot once. It was pretty fast and use-able for email within a minute or so.

| instead of rebooting you may want to try turning wireless off the back on. this will cause your pfone to reconnect with the network and force updates from your provider to your phone. | | Offline

| if ther was some way of switching the sim without taking the battery off would it be possible to turn the phone off via the menu option switch th sim then back on again, as this warm boot only ever takes a few seconds.
diegosalinas: was it a full reboot, ie taking the battery out then putting it back in? or after installing applications/themes? | | Offline
