Exclamation Freedom keyboard and the 7100V

Please Login to Remove!

Ok i am either the dumest guy in the world or i have the most tempremental blackberry ever.

I have tried everything to get a bluetooth freedom keyboard to work on my blackberry, tried several of the drivers, followed all the manuals.. and for someone in IT thats huge!

It loads the driver on the blackberry and i can see the app on the blackberry, i pair the keyboard, enable the keyboard, the lights double flash on the keyboard, but when i go to do any typing nothing works... I have done resets on the blackberry back to factory settings and redone all of this, still no luck in able to type anything, not even the function or home key works...

IF anyones got any sugestions... please let me know as i seem to need all the help i can get... Thanks

FWIW, I have a 8700c (yes, it is BES, but I got control) and can:
-directly load the driver
-pair the keyboard
-see the app in options-advanced-applications
-set keystroke injection to allow
-and get the puppy to work with my HP 4150 PDA
BUT it no work.........
Got a ticket into the responsive (but not very helpful) people at freedom.
Did you get it running?
What am I missing?!?

I don't think it's you. I thought about buying one until I read the review at blackberrycool.com - do search on the site for 'Freedom Keyboard' and you'll see what I mean..!
