Hi all

New 8700c user here with a quick question. I just purchased an 8700c from an individual today, and I'm in the process of trying to setup my email. Only problem is that when I try to create a new account, it's saying that the PIN number is already associated with an account and it won't let me go any further in the process.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

You'll have to call the carrier. They're the only ones that can delete/reassociate an account and PIN.

would be best to have the person you bought it from call the carrier and remove their old acoxxxx

they probably won't do it for you (since your not the original owner - security and all)

Got it fixed. Had to call Cingular and have them remove the original userID with the device, then create mine. Took 10 min. Thanks to all for the help.
