Default selecting large blocks of text - with 71xx series

woudl anyone know how to select large blocks of text or even the entire text of a message - similar to the "control-a" command in "word" . When I have large messages the basic "select " command is very tiring

TIA

if you press and hold shift it does a sellection character by character. But if you press and release it then begin scrolling it does line by line. As for sellecting all, i dont know.

Default found the solution

1) clickwheel select
2) press enter key till the cursor scrolls all the way down teh text ( as far as you need)
3) press clickwheel backwards ( in opposite direction of the movement of cursor )

4) at this point all teh text will be selected and you can copy/cut

best
