Hello, I know there are other forums about this but none have seemed to get to the bottom of it. While reading through some forums on the blackberry site, I have noticed there is some problems with this application and that running scanpst.exe may help. However I can't even get the redirector to recognize the account I have set up in outlook, can anyone help with this. Redirector does not even have the PIN of my device in the field where it should.
The message I continually receive is, "The computer does not know its message account address. Either the messaging system is not configured properly or this messaging system is not supported."
I am running Oulook 2002 and am trying to configure an IMAP account to be redirected to the bb. If anyone can assist with this that would be greatly appreciated.

The Desktop Redirector program was designed to work with Exchange e-mail accounts. It rarely works with POP3 accounts and will not work with IMAP accounts.

Thank you for the response, I read on forums on the blackberry site that there were quite a few individuals having success getting their POP3 to work without an exchange server just by doing a few small things, but haven't read anything about IMAP. But in the description of redirector it states that IMAP can be configured and presents it as an option during setup. Unfortunate that it truly doesn't support IMAP.

It does truly support POP3 either...
