I've been searching a while and could not find my answer. I'm looking to access one of my email accounts through Webmail. The only way I can access my Yahoo! Mail the way I want to is through the browser and I need to log in every time. I know that I can set up an email account separate, however this method does not stay live. For example, when I read a message from the email on my BB, it does not mark the messages as read when I check them on a computer.

Am I making any sense?

What OS are you using, and who is your carrier? I'm on T-MO with 4.1, and adding my regular ISP email account and my free Yahoo email was quick and painless. Yahoo email is pushed to the BB, too. As I understand it, all BIS 2.0 do this, but then I gather this isn't true (?) with Cingular. Haven't had to dig, so that's all I can tell you.

aiharkness is right - if your carrier has released 2.0 you can add your Yahoo! account and get the functions you want.

Yahoo! email arrives almost instantly; delete emails from the handhedl delete from your Yahoo! account; sent emails go to your sent items (if you have this enabled) and emails marked read/unread.

It is a one way wireless sync - handheld to Yahoo! account only

AND if your carrier is Cinuglar they don't yet support the instant email portion (and therefore i doubt the rest of it as well)

Nextel v4.1 on Platform 2.0

I see in email reconciliation that there are some options. I'll try different configurations to see if it will work for me.

On my 7100t, I used Setup Internet e-Mail under Tools. Just had to enter email address and password and the BB did the rest.

Where would I find "Tools"?

The tools folder is on my home screen (and I have the default TMO theme). This folder contains help, options, search, password vault and so on.

I'm thinking that Nextel does not offer this function.
