Default 7250 Dead, 4 red LED Flashes, Suggesstions?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All!

(I have searched the forum and don't see this specific issue addressed. If there is a better place to post please let me know.)

I have been a Telus Blackberry user for a few years. Got a 7250 last year (May 15, 2005). Saturday evening I turned off the BB. When I went to turn it on Sunday AM nothing happened apart from Red LED Flashes. It continues to flash 4 times, have a 2 second pause, and then repeat itself. I have taken the battery out and rebooted several times including overnight with the same result. There is no indication of life other than the 4 red led flashes. No screen, nothing. When plugged into the desktop the USB device is not recognized although it knows something is plugged in.

My OS was 4. something, I don't think it was up to 4.1 yet. (I did not have EVDO.) Is this likely a failed over the air OS upgrade or is it some sort of random hardware failure?

I called Telus Data services and they suggest taking it in to the store for repair which I will dothis evening. If anyone has a solution apart from taking it in please let me know!

Thanks,

Tom

Please tell me more!

I'd love to do a wipe but I don't know how.
