I enter all of my calendar dates on Outlook, which handles recurring events (birthdays and anniversaries) beautifully and they get synced perfectly.

Unbelievable.. Didnt have to do a thing. Opened up my outlook calendar and all my entries were already there. I have a bluetooth enabled laptop. Truly amazing...

I entered a birthday and checked the yearly recurrence option. It seems to work. I checked a fews years ahead. I'm new, but-
Why would I not seek the simplest solution- by checking recurrence/ yearly option?? Am I overlooking something?
I am not syncing to computer yet, a Mac.
