I dropped my 8700c and scratched up the left side of the unit a bit. The screen is undamaged but the housing has marks and the alt key is a little rough. The unit still works fine. After I dropped it though, I went out and bought another one.

I want to sell the one with the scratched housing. If I buy the parts from from promobility, it will cost me about $65 for a front housing, screwdriver and shipping. There are no replacement keypads available.

Do you think its easier just to sell it with the scuffed housing than to fix it? Will I get $65 more for it with a clean housing?

Go find a dummy phone on Ebay and swap the housing.
