Default 7130c Dial Up Networking with Cingular

Please Login to Remove!

You have to add this modem string to the modem that shows up when you plug in your 7130

Then set up a dial up account in Win XP with these settings
Username = [email address]
Passwords = CINGULAR1
Dial Number = *99***1#

That's it. I am new to blackberries but I really like the 7130c. I am a Treo 650 user for the last year and half and although I do miss the touchscreen and the full qwerty keys, I love the 7130's form factor and the push emails.

P.S. I am on the new BlackBerry personal plan $29.99

Default Thanks for the tip

Thanks for laying this out. Backtracking what I did wrong it was much easier to set up than I thought.

The key is recognizing the the 'Standard Modem' that appears when you instlal the desktop manager is the one to use. I was trying to create my own modems, which did not work.
