Question Automatic email open when removing device from holster...

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7100t, and if I receive an email, and take the device from my holster, it automatically opens. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

I've done a search here, and checked the device, and don't see a setting for that. Maybe I just missed it, no?

There is no way to turn the feature off. Only thing you can do is wait 5-7 seconds after the e-mail arrives and then take the BB out of the holster.

I do not believe there is a option to turn this off. At the moment, you simply have to wait before removing the Blackberry from the holster.

If it bothers you that much, you can remove the magnet from the holster itself. Then the BlackBerry doesnt know that it is ever in a holster. You lose the power savings if you do this though.

Be careful what you ask, you can get banned for asking questions, so just search and dont post.. so therefore there is no new info, for people to share...Then you cant be banned and mod's wont have to take there personal life issues out on you..Just a F.Y.I

Okay...someone is bitter it seems. You can ask questions here. Anything you want actually. Just people prefer you search first in case it is a question that is asked so much it is beaten to death. This was actually a good question. I learned something from it.

So don't listen to dolomite.

Dolomite - did you realize that signing up with multiple IDs is a reason for getting banned.

Quit while you're behind.

You, under your other name, asked a question, in the wrong forum, that had been asked hundreds of times.

Then you took it out on me. So I banned you.
