You may have to call Nextel and have them add the service (I've not used Mapquest Find Me, so not sure). For TeleNav (also GPS), I can download the software, but until Nextel adds the service on their end it won't work.

Make certain your GPS settings are on "Unrestricted" and you need to perform the refresh outside with a good clear look at the sky.

I am getting GPS Location Update Failed. Everything is set to unrestricted - I can get a GPS using eternal software - however the internal GPS in the phone will not even attempt to get a signal. ANY thoughts.. if I use mologogo the phone will transmit and recieve gps. If I use the phones internal gps screen (in options) it will not get a GPS read - just GPS location update failed. It wont even try - I am thinking this has to be a service book or software issue.

Anything?

When it was uLocate it worked great . . . MapQuest Find Me on the Blackberry is something else... It works great on other phones, just not the Blackberry. Set the Blackberry to Cell Towers (inside) not GPS (outside). The Blackberry only allows either or . . . other phones allow both....
