Default Profile Question

Please Login to Remove!

In the profile section I have the option 'Use Active Profile Except For'. I have set this up so that I can receive calls from certain people when I have the main profile option set to Quiet as I use this when in a meeting and don't want to receive general calls. My problem is it doesn't seem to let the contacts that I have added to this through either. Is it suppose to or have I done something wrong.

did you confirm that the "except for" members have a check marked in front of their entry on the profile screen?

I have an additional question to this, can this feature be used as in, each profile has a DIFFERENT 'except for'?

ps: I'm having the same issue as the original poster...

not that I know of, it's basically dependent on the ringer assigned to the particular entry in your phone book in which it creates that exception and reflects in every profile.

Yes mate. There is a check marked in the box. I have tried it again this evening with just one person with one number and it still doesn't work.

Unless your entry isn't assigned a specific ringer, can't suggest anything else, sorry dude.
