Please Login to Remove!

I just got this new blackberry - on my old blackberry - I was able to just hit M on the home screen and it would take me to Message - or C and it would take me to Compose - anyone have any idea how I can get that feature on my new 8700c - thanks

^^ what he said. Always search first because this has been talked about and well covered, it will save you time to search. Enter the term "shortcut" and you could have gotten this without starting a thread.

Here is the link you want:

Be sure to thank Stinsondog for his hard work!

one little note about the short cuts at least with 8700c's
you have to go to your phone and then hit the toggle wheel
go to options > general options > Dial from home screen > NO
otherwise when you click on the short cut key like 'o' for options
it'll just dial a + on the phone
just a tip
