Default 7130g coming to T-Mobile soon?

Please Login to Remove!

I've heard many mixed things concerning this. All of the gadget-related and BB sites have it definitely coming out sometime in July most likely, but some users on this site and HowardForums have said that T-Mobile will not be carrying it.

Is one side right/wrong?

Thank you in advance.

For what it's worth, I got this today from a friend at T-Mobile (corporate - and he is usually right)...

"We are not going to carry the 7130. We are working with RIM on a different device that we will launch instead."

So, based on that, I am not expecting a 7130 from T-Mobile.

Was there an anticipated date for this "7130 or better" phone from T-Mobile & BB?

I really enjoy the small size of my 7100t and the sure-type keys, but I would like the EDGE network functionality as well.

Maybe Tmo will launch the 'Stealth' BB

The reason I brought this subject up was because some users have posted info from other T-Mobile reps saying the they ARE getting the 7130g soon.

I have read some very bad reviews on this board regarding the 8700g phone quality which is why I would consider waiting for this model.

Everyone has their own opinion. I love my 8700. No problems or issues at all... Again, my .02

And my friend at T-Mobile has always been correct in the past, especially about BlackBerrys...

I can see tmo releasing the Stealth before the 7130 as it has an MP3 player and is more consumer driven.

So NJBlackBerry, you have had no phone/voice quality issues with your 8700g? At least nothing that would really concern you?

I will agree with NJBlackBerry as I know a few people who work for RIM and one was at my store yesterday, and he even said to his knowledge T-Mobile isn't going to carry the 7130 either.

I do not and I haven;t heard any from the folks at work who use them. I wish the sound level was higher on the Bluetooth, but I can live with that.

I just got a Motorola Q and I can not believe how poor the sound quality (using a wired headset) is compared to the 8700g.

JUST MY OPINION....
