Hi,
I have had 4 BB 7250's on Verizon over the last year and all have had the same issue. Everytime i call people they say that it sounds like I am jackhammering concerete, or some other razor sharp noise. The sounds are so bad that people literally have to hang up. I have no noise whatsoever coming in on my end, the call quality is generally good for me. It seems like something is wrong with the speaker but who knows. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I wonder if it is a tower issue in the area or areas you are in. I have had mine for well over a year now and I have not once had that issue. As a matter of fact I have had several people who dont believe it is from a cell phone that I am calling. I am in northern NJ by the way.

I am in Detroit area where we have excellent Verizon reception, so that shouldnt be a problem, also if i use another phone its never been a problem...

Are you using a headset? What type of environment are you using the phone?!

I too have had the 7250 for a long period of time, and nobody has ever complained about that type of noise....
