Default Couple of questions

Please Login to Remove!

I have had my 8700C for a week now and am getting pretty comfortable with it. I tossed my Treo 650 and I am glad I did.

I am concerned about the amount of usage I am giving the thumb wheel. I have tried to find other shortcuts but I need to ask if there is a shortcut to bring up the same menu that comes up when you press in the thumbwheel. I have not been able to find one yet.

Also, how do you remove a downloaded application? I installed e office and e file but they dont seem to be too user friendly.
I finally figured out how to down load and open a PDF file but when it opens, it is all numbers and letters but I am using the PDF viewer in E office

This is a great pda, now I know why they are called crack berries.

Oh, by the way I want to update to Bahari (spelling). Is that a problem with my Cingular version? the mic is way to sensitive in a car

Thanks in advance for any help
Dazz

Options -> advanced options -> applications-> hilite app and click wheel select delete

I think the OS your considering is called Bharti. I used and still love that OS. i updated to Telstra after fighting it initially i notice no difference.

You will be happy with either so i would recommend just going with Telstra for the updated home screen 3rd party icons and also the Today Theme

Whew!

Glad I just waited for a reply

Also, if I upgrade to the Telstra software, will that have any effect on the applications already installed?
We use Notify Link for our company e mail and it works great. I am curious to see if upgrading would interfere with it

Thanks again

That im not sure of?

Make sure and back everything up before you ever do anything to your BB! Especially updating the OS!

Actually backing up things weekly or so is always a good idea!

One of the few intelligent things i manage to do!
