Default stuck on GSM

Please Login to Remove!

so my phone is acting up very awkwardly.
it started with me gettign "failed calls".
then my phone start dropping its signal and "searching"
and when it got connected, it only connected to GSM.
then it would drop out again and get up to "GSM"
very weird. i called tmobile and they were stumped.
so the lady got me a trouble ticket number and has the
engineers working on it. she says i should get a call/text within
24/72 hours. in the end, i have a phone that is "stuck" on GSM
and get $5 bucks credit towards my account.
it does suck, but Tmobile was very awesome. i hope i don't have to send
my phone back for a new one. but i think it is the antennas around here.
but it is weird i've had great reception here at my house in the past.
any thought to why my phone is acting like this?

edit: tmobile and i have tried everything, soft reset, hard reset. manually find network. you name it, EVERything!

do you know any other TMobile Blackberry users in your area? Are they having issues or is it just you?

Where are you located and when did the problem start? I, along with many other users were experiencing mail/service problems earlier this week and I am on t-mo with a 8700g.

Did you ask the tech to define a network? lol Gotta love thes techs, sorry for any techs on here, but most I speak to have no idea what end is up. They always without question; take off the battery, bla bla bla. Not once have they fixed a problem for me, in some cases they made it worse. But in some cases I was able to have them give me credit.....

I find it funny at times to call them, but since I sent to BB from Palm I speak to them a lot less.
