Hello, I am new to this forum and a Luddite when it comes to these devices. The smaller they are the older I feel. I do email support so often I am asked to support BB users too even though they pose quite a challenge for me.

Example: I have one user with a 7100i. He syncs his mail to a BES server. Recently this user has not been able to move his calendar forward or backward. When attempting to do so he sees the next month at the top but the month that displays is still June, 06. Same for going backwards.

We have had the BES administrator reboot the server. We have also replaced the hardware. Is there something else we can do? Is this an instance where popping the battery is a good idea? Is there something I can try on the Desktop Manager side? Something in Options on the BB?

Pardon my ignorance about this subject. Sign me Perpetually Perplexed. And thanks for any advice.

Well, this is strange! But, since you've changed the hardware, I take it you mean, the device, no? If yes, then 'popping the battery' would be pointless - since that would have occured when you changed hardware.

I take it no one else is having this issue? Go to Calendar, click the thumbwheel, go to OPTIONS, and turn OFF the 'Enable Quick Entry'. Now reboot the device, and then go back to the Calendar. Any difference?
