Default 7130c BIS Questions

I have a blackberry 8700c from work and am thinking about getting a 7130c for personal use and getting the new Cingular BIS 2.0 plan. One thing I like about the 8700c with BES is that the browser does an excellent job reformatting certain web sites I frequent into a format that works well on the small screen. I assume it is the blackberry wap sever that is doing this translation. Visiting ipchicken from the 8700c reveals a blackberry.net IP. Using the Cingular browser which connects through cingular.net is not as nice. Is it safe to assume that the same functionality will occur with the 7130c and BIS?

Also as I understand it BIS is for email only and I will need to sync the phone with the computer for contacts and calendar? Will the BIS plan provide me with the TCP access I need for apps like Verichat?

Yes. Keep in mind that certain sites are tailored to MEdia Net and may display better with the Cingular Browser vs. Internet (BlackBerry) Browser.

It is for data access and not limited to email.
