Did anyone else order and receive their Screen Patronus screen protectors for the 7130c?

I did and mine arrived yesterday with what I consider some rather major issues.

1. 3 out of the six I ordered were simply the plastic backing piece. Meaning there was no screen protector attached.

2. They don't seem to be the right size. I tried installing three of them and always ended up with a large bubble section on either side of the LCD. Like the protector is just a tad too wide.

3. Also it doesn't cover the top part of the 7130c, where the ear piece does. It only covers the viewable area of the screen. The Screen Patronus product for the 8700x covers the entire front of the device.

I'm a big fan of the Screen Patronus product, read my review of it and you'll see. But it seems something isn't right with the version for the 7130c. Perhaps they rushed to get it out? Perhaps it's sized to fit another 71xx series device and they figured it would work for the 7130c so they sent them out?

I e-mailed Screen Patronus but haven't heard back. I'm not going to be reviewing the product until I hear back from them.

I heard back from Screen Patronus and ther apologized for the mix up.

They expect a new version for the 7130c during the middle of the week and will be resending my order once they arrive.

I'll report back when I receive them.

I received the updated product today.

There is no comparison.

The new ones are 100% better. The cover the entire front of the device with a cut out for the earpiece and fit the screen perfectly (no bubbles.) I had one installed in minutes and now you can't even tell it's there.

I'll be reviewing them later.

I have the 7130e and I have abused it for months. The golden color is scraped off in huge chunks all around the screen and the speakerphone. The screen, however, is perfect. Not a scratch on it. Good or bad, I wouldn't purchase a screen protector for this unit. If you hit it hard enough to scratch it, you will have hit it hard enough to go right through a screen protector.

Where did you order these from? How long does each one last?

man, that sucks! i just ordered 2 sets of the older ones and just received them. ugh, i gotta buy more!?

I have the old ones also. If they admittly have a defective product, they should send the new ones to everyone that ordered the bad ones. I had to use a razor blade to make mine fit.
