Default ringing through earpiece

this is on the handset ear piece.
sometimes when i make a call i dont hear the ringing sound it will just be quiet them the person im calling will pick up.
lately it havent been hearing the ringing.
is there a fuction to make always ring?

No. That's the service (Nextel it looks like). I have tmobile and it does the same thing, especially if I call another cell phone.
