Default MidpSSH and 7130e

Please Login to Remove!

I've been playing with the 7130e simulator and will probably place my order with Sprint for the device. I got MidpSSH to load and connect -- cool! -- but it's very hard to use with the abbreviated keyboard. I have to use the compose mode, which uses SureType or MultiTap, but it always wants to capitalize the initial letter, so ls becomes Ls and so on.

Anyone know way to get MidpSSH working with the 7130e?

You've done it. MidPssh is a pain, but it's free. To get better stuff, you gotta pay.

OK, thanks. And pay a lot--I think the Idokorro client is like $95 bucks.

midpssh should work fine. What you're gonna have to do is manually go back and retype the first letter. (Scroll wheel while holding alt). The BlackBerry will do this in Opera and other programs not designed specifically for the BB.

I've had the same problem, and I did find a thread somewhere on here discussing it, and the same solution was proposed.

Thanks. At least on the simulator, when I tried that, it would ofter re-"correct" the capitalization. I'll give it a try when the actual 'berry arrives.
