I've got a 8700g from CellularOne (Dobson Cellular). I was told it was 'unlocked' when I purchased it, however I'm unable to put a Cingular SIM card in it and get it to work. I called CellularOne and asked them for unlock code but they didn't know what I was talking about and said to call Blackberry! I'm wanting to leave CellularOne and take my phone over to Cingular....none of the unlocking companies can unlock this phone, any ideas?

Welcome to BlackBerry Forums. Before you get beat on by others I'd suggest the following: Search the fourm for "unlock" or "unlocking" as this topic has been discussed hundreds of times in multiple threads that offer suggestions and sources to unlock. Good luck!
