Smile Setting up Blackberry internet service( formerly Webclient)

Please Login to Remove!

Hey All,

I just bought an 8700R and i need some help.

I have not called rogers to set up e-mail service, but I do not have the WAP icon on my screen or the internet browser.

Is this normal and how can I get them on my phone, or will I get them on the phone after I order service?

thank you for all the help

SK

You'll get them after you properly set up a Blackberry plan on your account and your device has been registered on the network.

No BlackBerry Data Plan, no data. No way around it.

unless you mean that your internet icons aren't there, in which case just go into options/advanced options/host routing tables and then register now any one of the rogers/at&t lines to get your internet icons. Otherwise, as the guys said above, no data plan, no data.

Registering the device will do nothing if a Blackberry plan isn't enabled on the account.
