Default Shortcuts to 3rd party apps (e.g. GoogleTalk)??

Please Login to Remove!

Can I create a shortcut from the home screen to a 3rd party app such as GoogleTalk? Right now when I go into the applications folder, I can press "G" and it opens GoogleTalk, but is there a way to do this from the home screen?

You can go to this thread and follow the instructions to upgrade to the Telstra OS. That allows direct access from the homescreen to shortcuts in Applications folders.

Upgrading to Telstra has other benefits (and to some people's minds liabilities) - lots written on that here if you do a search - but I'm quite sure that's the only way to get what you want.
