7100i on Viagra
 

My 7100i antenna has always been a little sticky, tonight after I pulled it out it wouldnt go back in. It moves about an inch in and stops, I twisted, bent and cussed it and it just stops, any Ideas on how to get the grey part off, atleast my 7520 or whatever it was could be un screwed.

You need a torx screw driver I think a t6 and a t4 I think those are the sizes and then take the panel off then you can take the ant off

Under the battery cover are the 2 torx screws, just next to the battery door latch. Removed those 2 screw, fully extend the antenna and the grey part will come off with the antenna. There are 2 snap tabs that help hold the grey section on on the upper section, but usually comes off easy. There is a small phillips screw that holds the black section of the antenna in place.

Thanks, that worked. The little plastic tube was bent, on monday ill gut one of our trashed ones and see what I can get out of it
