Default which type of sim card?

how can you tell if your sim card is an older 32 bit sim card as opposed to the new 64 bit?

The sim should say 32k

If your on Cingular a 32k SIM will say 32k. Other indicators are the SIm card is solid white. Newer 64k SIMS are always orange and have variations of a white or blue stripe. Reagrdless of your carrier if you go into a corporate owned retail store they should upgrade your SIM for free.
