I am a desktop support tech, who supports several hundred users. One of my users (the assistant to the CEO, unfortunately), has been having this annoying problem that just will not go away. She synchs multiple calendars (her own and the CEO's) on the device. Approximately once a month, the manual synch will stop synching her boss's calendar items. During the synch, it will search through both his and her calendars, but it will not detect any changes from her boss's calendar.
- both calendars are still listed in the PIM settings
- nothing has changed in her Outlook profile
A temporary fix has been to remove and recreate her Outlook profile, and make sure that the Desktop Manager is pointing to the new profile in her PIM settings. But the problem comes back, about once a month. Hey, I have no problem recreating her Outlook profile once a month, but she's the assistant to the CEO, and I really do not want to piss them off. What could cause this to keep happening, and how can I make it stop? Calls to Research In Motion have been utterly disappointing. HELP!
