Question 7100t turning off for no reason?!?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a BB 7100t from Ebay. It is intended for T-Mobile, but it unlocked and I am using it with my Cingular service. I love the phone, but sometimes it turns off for no reason (when I have it in my purse, in an area with no signal). When it does this I have to take the battery out to turn it back on. The power key and track wheel does not turn it on. What is wrong with my phone? What can I do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Verify that you are using the latest OS and software package from your phone provider (TMobile). To check this go to http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade/ and use a TMobile phone number to get the software (any TMobile bberry number will do, you can PM me if you can't get one and I can give you one of mine for the download).

Go to TMOBILE and get the latest software for the phone you are using (DO NOT GET CINGULAR). Search for similar items in the forums to learn how to load the phone with the new software.

Good luck.

That number should work, but I am not 100% sure. You just click on the user name (baconismidog) or esellis in a post and choose send a personal message.
