Default will 8700g work on the cingular network?

Please Login to Remove!

I have the opprotunity to pick up an 8700g really cheap. I am a cingular customer though, will it work for me?

Yes - but beware of a few things:

1. It must be SIM card unlocked to use on Cingular
2. If it has a BES IT Policy on it, you will have to remove it; otherwise you may have limited functionality
3. If it was previously registered onto another carrier's BIS, you must get it removed from their BES before you can register it on Cingular's BIS.
