Default Can any blackberry playback .wav files?

Please Login to Remove!

At work we recently just upgraded are voicemail system and now it supports integrated VM messaging which sends a .wav of the voicemail to your email.

Can any blackberry play the .wav files? While their isn't a ton of blackberry users at work right now (around 10 so far) they would love to be able to listen to their VM's on the go. Right now we don't have a BES but we do plan on getting one within the next 6 months.

I have a BB8700g from T-mobile (just got it a couple of weeks ago and freaking love it) and the blackberry won't receive the email with VM attached but all of my other emails come in fine.

But not as an attachment to an email. Just won't do it currently.

Hope this helps.

Rim is working on this, and it should be out shortly (I was told this by a guy on the inside).

What voice mail system did you put in?

I think its Inter-tel's latest VM system (I'll ask my boss about it later today).

Any idea when RIM is suppose to release this update and which BB will it support? People here are using the 7250, 7290, 7105, 7100g, and the 8700 series.

I have an 8700c and would love to have .wav attachments playable. I get email attachments of .wav files from my voice mail systems at home and at work. It would be great to listen to them on the BlackBerry. ...even the 2nd gen Sidekick/hiptop (CSK) could play them.
