Default PIN & SMS missing from my 7290 on Rogers

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys, im new here! I have a 7290. I am with Rogers Canada. This past thursday I received a SMS message from Rogers saying that they now offer picture / video messaging. Shortly afterwards I noticed that I am no longer to SMS or PIN!!! Usually when you go to the compose a new message I had the options: email, call, mms, sms & pin for most of my contacts where applicable. now the SMS & PIN options are completely missing! I have rebooted it several times, tried taking the battery out for a few minutes, I have compared the settings in my options / SMS with a buddies with the same hardware / service and everything is the same. Can someone help me out?! Thanks!!!

o i should also mention that I am on a corporate plan... my BB is issued thru my work. I talked to the phone guy at my work and he was not aware of the SMS & PIN being removed so its not like they blocked the usage of it or something. ARGH!

Try resending your service books.

so I did some searching and found that rogers has a site where I would put in my PIN and it should let me resend these service books. well its telling me thatn my PIN is unknown and wont let me login. Could this be because I am on a BES?

call rogers - make sure your data plan hasn't bene disabled

trust me you have a IT policy blocking the sending of PIN and SMS, but you will be able to recieve these
