I am ready to pull my hair out. I just purchased a 7130e. I cant get the browser to even be displayed or get email working. I am told this problem is because the network is down and not capable of provisioning. This has been the case for 2 days now. Sprint was quick to take my $500, but no one seems to be in too big of a hurry to resolve this problem. All other functions seem to work but my old, cheaper phone was capable of these functions. Email is obviously why I bought a BB. It's a bit like a boat anchor at this point. Sorry, enough complaining. Is anyone else experiencing this problem. I suppose this may only be a problem for new subscribers? Can any one who has had this phone for a while offer any feedback on its general performance? If I am told to remove the battery one more time I will have to use my siren on someone!!

I'm using the Sprint 7130e. Browsing is fine. Yesterday I had some serious email delays, but I don't know if it was due to Sprint or my company Domino server. (Or maybe some massive tangled tubes).

Today messages are instantaneous.

EDIT: This is using the BIS service. Until I get hooked into the BES, I'm using a forwarding rule to my sprint.blackberry.net address.

Nevermind - you're on sprint. I am on Verizon. For some reason, I could always re-provision my phone by dialing #22889, but right now, its giving a busy signal.

Odd.

Odd.
Or pushing the service books from your BIS account (or are you connecting to a BES?).

You're not alone. For the last two weeks I've had everything from instantaneous message delivery to delays in excess of 1 hour. For the first time today, I have seen a message in my computer's inbox that was NOT delivered to my 'berry.

See this thread for more frustrated BB-ers.

I personally think Sprint can't handle the demand for their new BB. Hopefully they will iron out the problems soon. If and when you get your browser icon to show up, it will work great. Occassionally if you don't notice any email coming in, just do a quick hard restart by pulling the battery out and putting it back in and/or just resend your service books and it'll work. Annoying and tedious, but thats technology for ya.

I am having the same problem with my browser. The icon isn't showing up. Do you get a message that reads your browser isn't configured.

I own a Sprint 7130c and it took 2 calls to tech support to find out the reps provisioned my account incorrectly. Once they fixed it, the browser showed up immediately!

Give tech support a call, I bet it's something small!

So you have this problem too. I initially thought it was related somehow to the Zen theme, as that seemed to be the only time I would stop getting emails and internet connectivity.

Today it happened for the first time while using a different theme, so I guess it is just a Sprint/7130e issue? I usually have to pull the battery once a day, if not more.

I haven't had it in a while but once in a while i'll send an email to my phone to see if i receive it and if not then i'll just do a take out the battery and put it back in. the phone is on all day 24/7, just like a PC that is on for a very long time, a reboot is good for it to get things running normal again...IMO.
